Line of the Night: Did anyone think that Chris Duhon (1.27) and the Knicks would come away with the upper hand in their match-up with New Orleans and Chris Paul? Duhon will mix in these great games amongst his crap every one in a while – he scored 22 points on 7-11 shooting, going 6-8 from three and adding 9 assists as the Knicks destroyed the Hornets 113-96.

Honorable Mentions: Joakim Noah (1.03) had an 18 point, 14 rebound, 3 block game for the Bulls who WON against Golden State; Kevin Durant (0.97) scored 32 points (he was 11-12 from the line) and had 10 rebounds to lead OKC to a win over Memphis; Steve Nash (0.88) had 20 points and 18 assists as the Suns squeaked out a win over Orlando; and Lebron James (0.87) dropped a 33/7/7 on the poor Blazers.

Waiver Wire Line of the Night: Mike Conley (0.83) is a sensitive soul. The short lived addition of Allen Iverson to the team must have really bothered him because now that Iverson has signed with the Sixers, Conley has consistently put up good numbers. Last night against the Thunder, Conley scored 20 points, adding 8 assists and 3 steals in 38 minutes on the court. Going forward, he seems well worth the add if he’s available in your league.

Also, Mickael Pietrus (0.81) scored 23 points with 8 boards in 32 minutes for the magic. The lines are not always pretty for Pietrus, but the minutes have been there for him.

Injury of the Night: Kobe Bryant (0.22) fractured his finger in the first quarter of the Lakers/Wolves game. He left the game for a short period of time and returned for the second half playing with a splint on his finger. Kobe is confident that he’ll continue to play with the injury, however the break is on his shooting hand so chances are it is going to affect his fantasy performance in terms of his shooting percentage and scoring numbers.

The Biggest Loser: I really, really hope no one is still holding on to Tyson Chandler (-1.01) hoping he jumps into a time machine and travels back to the year 2007. Chandler registered the first negative 1 game score this year thanks to a 4 point, 2 rebound, 8! turnover performance against San Antonio. Chandler is now averaging 2.3 turnovers a game in about 24 minutes on the court.

All Eyez on Me:

Phoenix (16-7) at Denver (16-7) – The NBA’s two highest scoring teams meet for the first time this season in Denver. Each are averaging 108 PPG, so of course this will probably be a 92-88 game or something similar.

Los Angeles Lakers (18-3) at Utah (13-9) – We’ll have to wait and see if Kobe plays in this one, but if history is any guide, then a broken finger isn’t going to keep him off the court. Still, you’d expect that because the break is on his shooting hand, Paul Gasol, Andrew Bynum and company will see an extra shot or two.

The Golden Ticket: Golden State (7-15) at Detroit (10-12) – What happens when the Golden Ticket meets the golden… ? My guess is not a great game, and it could actually be a tough one for a lot of the Warriors’ players if Detroit can effectively slow things down.
