I suggested people to sit Watson and Frye based on their 3-game weeks. I am playing Courtney Lee's 4 games over Watson's three games in the GMTR Keeper league.

Neither Watson nor Frye are high-volume %-boosters, therefore based on counting categories alone, "lesser" players playing an extra game should produce better. Four Chalmers or even Brooks (Aaron) games are potentially superior to that of Watson's, if we're a talking about AST, STL, and 3PTM totals logged for the week.

Like I said, I was testing this format out. I will tweak it next week and probably just highlight the less obvious starts and sits. I will put injured and coming-back-from-injury guys. I think the stream material section is useful for the Daily changes people and have received good feedback about it.

Thanks for the comments people.

Uh, yeah. I was being sarcastic. When I suggested the weekly prep post to Erik, I was hoping for a few paragraphs, and then he comes up with what is probably the longest post in GMTR history.

This was certainly helpful, tho I hope the comment about mentioning EVERY PLAYER IN THE LEAGUE was sarcastic because damn, I don't think anyone expects you to have that sort of time. What I guess I'm struggling with the most are some of the calls you're making. You're not really wrong about anything, but your calls about sit vs don't sit sometimes seem a bit arbitrary. For example:

C.J. Watson is hot right now, I think Top 40 on the Y! weekly rater and good for the entire month before that. Even in a bench role, he's popping. You recommend sitting him. But then you recommend that we start Aaron Brooks (who has really dropped off after a strong start and now appears to be a very average fantasy PG) and T.J. Ford (who was straight up dropped in most of my fantasy leagues).

It's impossible to be right about everything, especially when a guy like Channing Frye is a lousy play for a bigball team (which shouldn't have him at all) but is practically a per week necessity for a smallball team. It isn't easy to write long overviews like this where detail is at a minimum.

Still, good effort and generally good judgment on the calls you're making.

I agree. Erik, next time could you try to mention every player in the league? For example: the Wizards... you only mention 4 of them, compared to the 9 Dallas Mavericks players.
