That absence might be the cause of his current horrible performance on the court, but considering how good he was earlier in the year and the fact that he's going to get a lot of time for a banged up Warriors squad, I would keep him on your team. Like all good shooters, eventually he'll shoot his way out of the slump. You just might want to bench him until he does.
