Line of the Night/ Waiver Wire Line of the Night : Roy Hibbert (1.04). Jeff Foster left this game early because of a lower back injury, giving Hibbert plenty of court time against Tim Duncan and the Spurs. The Pacers lost the game when Duncan dunked over Hibbert, but otherwise the big man was solid, scoring 20 points with 7 boards and 6 blocks in 35 minutes on the court. Hibbert’s value going forward depends on the severity of Foster’s injury, which we’ll have to wait to hear about, so you might be better off picking him up if he’s available and dropping him if Foster makes a quick return to the court.

Honorable Mentions: Joe Johnson (0.99) dropped 40 points in an overtime loss to the Bulls. He was 16-32 from the floor and 5-7 from three but couldn’t quite get the sweet taste of victory; Trevor Ariza (0.98) had a 31/8/6 in a win over the Thunder; Andre Iguodala (0.89) had 20 points 9 boards, 7 assists and 4 steals, but had a game winning shot waved off because it came after the buzzer; and Gerald Wallace (0.85) continues to rack up crazy double-doubles for an otherwise lackluster Bobcats’ team with 30 points on 10-16 shooting and 13 rebounds.

Other Waiver Wire Line of the Night: C.J. Miles (0.94) got 35 minutes off the bench for the Jazz against the Bobcats, mostly because the matched up well against the size of Stephen Jackson. He finished with 20 points, 3 threes and 5 boards. Since starter Wesley Matthews’ performance so far this season has been about as impressive as my dancing skills at a wedding, Miles will likely continue to see his minutes grow in this Jazz rotation.

The Biggest Loser: I was going to cut Michael Redd (-0.57) a little slack since he’s still working the rust off his game, but he’s actually gotten worse in each game he’s played with the exception of the second one. Yesterday, he was 1-6 from the floor and scored 3 points in 21 minutes off the bench. I’d recommend dropping him, but what was he doing on your team in the first place?

All Eyez on Me:

Charlotte (10-15) at New York (9-17) – Nate Robinson wants to be traded from the Knicks, which makes sense since all he’s doing for them at the moment is racking up DNPs. But does any team actually want Natey Rob? The Kings almost acquired him last season, but with rookie guard Tyreke Evans exploding onto the scene, it doesn’t appear they have a place for him any longer. Anyone else have a need for an undersized shooting guard?

Cleveland (20-7) at Dallas (19-8) – Dirk is questionable for this one after colliding with Carl Landry in Dallas’ last game. If he sits this one out, I guess Drew Gooden has some minor value. I stress the word minor.

Los Angeles (21-4) at Detroit (11-15) – So far so good for Kobe Bryant and the injury to his shooting hand. He’s scored 42, 39 and 29 points in the Lakers’ last three games and shot over 50% from the floor. On the other side, the Pistons are banged up to put it mildly. In addition to Ben Gordan and Tayshaun Prince, Richard Hamilton is out again with a sore hamstring after making a short 2 game return to the court last week.
