Line of the Night: Has Zebo finally found a home in Memphis? Zach Randolph (1.40) is playing like a true big man again this season (instead of the guy who threw up 97 three-pointers last year for the Clippers). Randolph had 32 points and 24 rebounds (he did make 1 three-pointer), and added a steal and a block while shooting 62% and 100%, earning his 2nd LotN of the season.

Honorable Mentions: Paul Pierce (1.09) made 6 threes en route to 29 points, adding 7 rebounds and 4 assists; Brandon Roy (1.03) had 28, 4, and 8 with 5 threes, and shot 78.6% from the field.

Waiver Wire Line of the Night: Right after Pierce and Roy’s three-point barrages came Quentin Richardson (0.98) who actually made all 7 of this three point shots (and didn’t have a field goal attempt other than that). He was only 1-2 from the line, but when you make 7 three-pointers, nothing else really matters. Q-Rich is going to live and die by the three, but he is making 2.1 of them per game this season. I’d highly recommend him for a Mid Ball team because he’s shooting 48% on the season with 4.6 rebounds. He’s not doing much in the way of Small Ball stats, but he’s only shooting a half a free throw per game, so if you need a boost in Threes, he is an option there.

The Biggest Loser: The wheels came off the Al Harrington express last night (-0.63) as he shot 4-10 from the field, and 1-4 from the line to end up with 10 points (1 three), and 3 rebounds. Oh, and in case you’re wondering if we’re going to come up with any new running jokes here, I’m watching very closely Danilo Gallinari’s three point attempts. Last night: 7 – actually above his season average of 6.7 attempts per game. Will he ever be able to top the 16 bombs he threw up in the 3rd game of the season? Don’t worry. I’ll let you know.

All Eyez On Me: Cleveland (20-8) at Phoenix (18-9) in a match-up of a playoff contender and a team that always looks like a playoff contender. Should be fun to watch.

Utah (16-11) is in Orlando (20-7), so another good match-up there.

The Golden Ticket: I think Phoenix is the fastest team playing tonight, but Chicago is hosting Sacramento, so I’m thinking that the Kings big men, well, okay, mostly Jason Thompson, will strike it rich tonight.

Re: Utah vs. Orlando – I benched Vince Carter this week, figuring there was a good chance for a 3-11 in him at least once. This might be the case tonight if he's guarded by the likes of Wesley Matthews, CJ Miles, and Ronnie Brewer – three guys who I assume get PT for reasons other than shooting and scoring. I could be seeing a Rotoworld update at around 8:00 EST saying, “Vince Carter limped off the floor in the second quarter. Check back for updates.” Of course, if Kyle Korver is on him, all bets are off. (Do a Google Image search on “Kyle Korver defense”.)
