When Cleveland, Miami, and Indiana are involved in blowout games, and the Knicks are playing San Antonio, you know it’s going to be a slow day for fantasy lines.
Line of the Night: LeBron James (1.40) had 29 points (2 threes), 5 rebounds, 6 assists, 3 steals, and 1 block. I mean, sure, but you know, it’s LeBron. That’s just an everyday line for him.
Honorable Mentions: Baron Davis (1.05) came through with 24 points and 13 assists. Baron isn’t putting out a lot of flashy lines this year, but he’s hanging in at a solid 32 on the Player Rater.
David Lee (0.90) had another double-double with 28 and 10. Beast.
Waiver Wire Line of the Night: Everyone’s favorite Swedish NBA Player (trust me – he is your favorite Swedish NBA Player) Jonas Jerebko rocked out 6th place last night with 14 points (2 threes), 7 rebounds, 2 steals, and a block. Sounds like a good Mid Ball player if I ever heard of one. He can really prop up a Big Ball team that’s got a spot since he doesn’t turn the ball over much, and has decent rebounding numbers and a good FG%.
The Biggest Loser: Mike Dunleavy (-0.71) set a new record for futility by becoming the first back-to-back Biggest Loser of the season. Dunzo had 1 three for a total of three points, going 1-10 from the floor, and turning the ball over 3 times. He only played 23 minutes, and I’m sure that’s because the Pacers were already down big at half time.
All Eyez On Me: Here’s looking forward to a little bit more fantasy cheer tonight as the Lakers visit the Suns where they like to run, Denver goes to Sacramento where they don’t play defense, and the Oklahoma City Kids head to New Jersey where they apparently are perfectly happy to sleep until Brooklyn.
Okay. Sorry, LeBron, but that was the Line of the Night. Wow. I feel like I should just retire from blogging after that one. Dunzo!
The Golden Ticket: Boston is at Golden State, so there’s that. Not sure how that’s going to work out, though, especially since the Celtics just dropped one to the Clippers. It’s not like Doc is going to give Eddie House the green light to rain threes all of a sudden.
