Line of the Night: Tim Duncan (0.89) had 23 points and 10 rebounds, but none of his usual blocks (2 steals though). He did everyone a favor by shooting 77% from the field and 100% (okay, 3 of 3) from the line.
Honorable Mentions: As Patrick pointed out, Kevin Durant (0.77) wanted to be more aggressive against Utah, but was below his “vs. Utah” average with only 31 points. He also had 8 rebounds and 2 blocks. And the youngsters won!
Waiver Wire Line of the Night: And that brings us to Rasual Butler (0.76), who had 14 points (4 threes), 5 rebounds, 3 assists, and 3 blocks. Not bad for a guy who’s only owned in 14% of leagues. He’s actually been getting decent minutes for the Clippers, and looks like a pick-up worthy of a Small Ball team with a spot to spare.
The Biggest Loser: And that brings us to Richard Hamilton (-0.72) who played less minutes than Butler, because why? Oh, because full-strength Detroit got whooped by full-strength Chicago. Okay, it’s not saying much, but the way the Bulls are going this season, you have to rejoice in every win. Rip shot 15% from the floor and 75% from the line to end with 7 points. He also had 2 rebounds, 2 assists, and 3 turnovers. Still recovering from the injury I guess.
Yeah, that’s right, it’s a red and blue sad face.
All Eyez On Me: Okay, gotta crank this out to get back to my How I Met Your Mother Marathon: Don’t watch basketball tonight. Watch some show you’ve been meaning to watch for like 5 years, but couldn’t because reception for the channel it’s on is really crappy and/or it conflicts with another show that you watch during that time and you don’t have TiVo.
The Golden Ticket: New York is playing. Go Atlanta!
