Okay, so he actually predicted the future in the last post, but I am here to confirm:The Golden Nugget: Golden State (9-23) at Denver (21-13) – The clash of two fast passed offenses should almost certainly produce a line of the night tomorrow.

And there were 9 games to chose from last night, so I don’t think this is something to be taken lightly. Now, if only Vegas would let us start betting on Line of the Night, we might finally be able to make some money off this whole fantasy basketball thing.

Line of the Night: Stephen Curry (1.44) made all 6 of his three pointers, ending 10-13 from the field for 26 points. As if that wasn’t enough, he also had 5 rebounds, 6 assists, and 3 steals. He didn’t take a free throw, so that’s almost as good as going 100%. Except, I suppose, when JR Smith goes 4-5 from the line to give his team the win. But, that’s real life and not fantasy basketball.

Honorable Mentions: Gerald Wallace (1.26) had a strong game (against the Matadors who missed a couple clutch shots as usual), playing 45 minutes (no overtime!) and ending up with 32 points (2 threes), 9 rebounds, 2 assists, a steal, 2 blocks, and 10-11 from the line.

Corey Maggette (1.08) also took advantage of the GSW/DEN match-up to go for 35 points, 7 rebounds, 2 steals, and Corey Maggette style 11-12 from the line.

Lamar Odom (1.04) had 17 points and 19 rebounds. Zach Randolph (1.00) had 27 and 14 with 3 steals. Tyreke Evans (0.91) had 27, 11, and 7 assists, with 2 steals and a block. Evans was also 7-7 from the line.

The Basketball Jones for putting together another strongly humorous video. I hadn’t seen the Christmas Carol one, so I’m glad I clicked through to watch this most recent one.

Waiver Wire Line of the Night: Martell Webster (0.89) remains one of only 7 Trail Blazers physically capable of playing basketball, and until that changes, he’ll continue to rack up threes and points.

The Biggest Loser: Maybe somebody should have stayed retired. Okay – that’s kind of harsh, since Allen Iverson (-0.73) has actually been playing pretty in 3 of the 4 games leading up to this one. But last night, AI soaked up 34 minutes on the court, going 2-6 from the field, for 4 points, 5 assists, and 7 turnovers. Ouch. Hope you didn’t want to win that category this week.

All Eyez On Me: In terms of record, I guess Houston @ Phoenix will be the best game. Seriously, though, how is Houston 20-15 without their two best players? There were times (many of them) when I doubted Rick Adelman… but I guess he’s learned from his experiences.

The Golden Ticket: Golden State heads into Minnesota, so, yee-ha!

I didn't know Tara Reid was on the Warriors dance team...
  • I didn't know anyone thought Tara Reid still looked that good. Haha!

Tara Reid circa the original American Pie, not present-day. Wasn't that the last time she was worth photographing anyways? You gotta admit that looks a LOT like her, though.
  • Yes and Yes. I didn't really look at the picture when I posted it, but that's definitely a good call.

It’s predicting the future in the same way psychics and horoscopes predict the future...

Wait a second, I may have found a new business opportunity for us.
  • As long as it doesn't involve cheesy commercial that air on public access at midnight I'm all for it.

One of your fantasy players with an A in is name will have a very good game tonight, Nels. The fact that Venus is retrograded lets me know that.
