Line of the Night: LeBron James (1.51) dominated Line of the Night with 36 points (4 threes), 9 rebounds, 6 assists, and 5 steals. Too bad he only shot 8-12 from the free throw line, because the Cavs lost on a last-second three-pointer by Sundiata Gaines.

Gaines was no where near being a Waiver Wire Line of the Night, but I’m thinking that at some point, he might make it to that spot. Plus, he’s got a really cool name.
Honorable Mentions: I have to mention Luol Deng (0.99) since he was second on the night even though his line isn’t that impressive beyond the 2 steals and 2 blocks. He had 25 points on 61% field goal shooting, as well as 90% free throw shooting, so there’s that. If he’d had one of those rare double-digit rebound games, he might have come out on top.
Joakim Noah (0.67) had 15 and 11 with 4 blocks, and was even 7-8 from the line. Not an All-Star performance, though.
Kendrick Perkins (0.61) took Patrick’s advice and pounded the Bulls front line (which basically consists of Joakim Noah) for 14 points, 11 rebounds, and 5 blocks.
Carlos Boozer (0.61) shot only 33% on 18 attempts, but made all 7 free throws to end up with 19 points, 13 rebounds, and 6 assists.
Waiver Wire Line of the Night: Taj Gibson (0.40) gets the nod, but mostly because there were only 2 games last night. He did have 14 points, 6 rebounds, with 2 steals and 2 blocks. Keep an eye on Taj for next season, because if he gets consistent playing time (or ends up somewhere else next year where he can get a few more minutes per game) he’ll be a decent fantasy player. He’s like a not-as-exciting-but-much-more-consistent-and-disciplined version of Tyrus Thomas.
Since that was kind of a weak WWLotN, and people have asked for more advice on adding and dropping, here’s the most recent add/drops from the 3 GMTR Reader’s Leagues…

The Biggest Loser: With KG and Sheed out, the Celtics need someone (besides Kendrick Perkins) to step up if they’re going to beat teams like the Bulls. Ray Allen (-0.60) was not that guy last night, going 4-10 from the field with ZERO free throw attempts to end up with 8 points and a rebound. As one of the best free throw shooters in the league, Allen needs to get to the line!
All Eyez On Me: Phoenix in Atlanta should be some hotness. Orlando at Portland will be interesting to see how both of those teams are holding up.
The Golden Ticket: Toronto is at NYC; Milwaukee at Golden State, and do we get to count Washington at Chicago now because the Wizards are so bad?
Don’t Forget: Register at 365 Fantasy Sports so you can play in the weekly (one-day) Give Me The Rock fantasy game. Last week, we had 7 people starting their fantasy seasons anew, and I’m going to mention that Underdogs was the winner. Want to see your name here next week? Register at the site, and then check back for the GiveMeTheRock.com FreeRoll game starting Tuesday night. For more info, check out this handy instructions page.
I’m thinking if we get a few more people, we can start a Grand Prix of some sort (of course, that kind of defeats the purpose of “starting over” every week, but it would add another dimension to the GMTR fantasy games). If people are interested, we can also get a “real money” version of the game going, where instead of betting “points” and winning “tokens” you throw in a small ante and try to win some beer money.
Friday’s Tiny Dancer: You’d think with the Cavaliers being one of the more successful teams in the NBA right now that they’d be able to recruit the finest dance talent available, like the girls in the hotel room who were on the team at some point in the past… but as you can see from the bikini calendar photo shoot, the Cavalier Dancers are struggling to raise the heat level.
