Our halfway MVP is LeBron James. He’s only 2nd in the 9-category rankings, but he’s first in 8-cat leagues, and if you take a quick below, you’ll see he just picked up his 9th LotN compared to Chris Paul’s 4.

Line of the Night: LeBron James (1.56) and Dwyane Wade (1.01) both took advantage of weaker teams last night, but James put up Total Domination numbers compared to Wade’s mere Superstar performance. LeBron had 28 points, 9 rebounds, 11 assists, 3 steals, and 3 blocks. He shot only 44% from the field, but got to 85.7% from the line after taking 14 free throws. That’ll help you take over that category.

Honorable Mentions: The aforementioned Wade had 32 points with 4 threes, 3 assists, 2 steals, and 3 blocks. He managed 0 rebounds in 31 minutes, which I find odd, but shot 60% from the field, so I suppose it’s all good.

Waiver Wire Line of the Night: Brandon Rush (0.78) had 17 and 10 in relatively big minutes for him. Luther Head and TJ Ford are both out of the Pacers lineup, so while they remain out, Rush is probably a good short-term pick-up. Certainly don’t count on him as a long term asset, but if you have someone on your bench who’s under-performing, take a look at Rush.

The Biggest Loser: While Rush was performing above his pay grade, Danny Granger (-0.36) was performing well under his. Granger did score 8 points with a three, 2 steals, and a block in 32 minutes. What brought him down was his 2-16 shooting from the field. So, while Monta Ellis can make it from the entrance ramp, Granger needs to be reintroduced to Mr. Broad Side Of A Barn.

All Eyez On Me: Probably not the best game from a fantasy perspective, but Utah @ San Antonio is the only game that involves two “good” teams. Everything is a good team against a crap team. One good-team/crap-team game that might be of interest is: New Jersey @ Phoenix. Lopez v Lopez both in the starting lineup! Game on!

The Golden Ticket: Denver @ Golden State is the front runner. Seeing as how Denver has “healthy” players, they should be able to dominate the Warriors, but that doesn’t mean that Golden State won’t try to run around and bomb ill-advised threes as much as possible. It also means, ill-advised early-in-the-clock shots from the two bench players trying to prove they belong somewhere in a 9-man rotation.
