Line of the Night: Chris Bosh (1.06) must know that he’s playing to make teams want him. Last night he had 36 points, 11 rebounds, 5 assists while shooting 78% from the field.

Honorable Mentions: Rajon Rondo (0.86) flirted with a triple-double, but only had as much success as Patrick does when he flirts with his wife. Boom, roasted. Rondo had 17 points (2 threes), 8 rebounds, and 9 assists. He also had 3 steals and 0 turnovers.

Waiver Wire Line of the Night: Third on the night, so let’s fit him in now: Antoine Wright (0.65) – who plays for the Raptors now, FYI – had 16 points (2 threes), 4 rebounds, 5 assists with a block and a steal. He shot 86% from the field, so he’s not really worthy of the Waiver Wire LotN, but the next best choice is Spencer Hawes (0.25) who put up 14 and 11 but shot 37% from the field. Take your pick, I guess.

The Biggest Loser: Rasheed Wallace (-0.49) is back to backing up Kevin Garnett and so his minutes and stats are back to, well, let’s hope not The Biggest Loser every day… but his 2 points, 1 rebound, and 3 assists in 19 minutes is certainly worth of the title for last night.

All Eyez On Me: As Erik pointed out this week ends with All Star Weekend, so there’s a lot less games on the schedule. Tonight we do get San Antonio playing against a possibly Kobe-less Lakers, and the Not Superbowl Champion Hornets will visit the Not Superbowl Location Orlando.

The Golden Ticket: Dallas is at Golden State, so let’s see what Dirk et. al. can do…

Don’t Forget: Play GMTR’s Weekly Fantasy Game. No, really. It’s pretty awesome.

thats bulls team is a title contender!do they have cap space for that team? what would their bench look like?

thanks for the FYI on antione wright….i figured new jersery still, but it has been a few weeks, so that was a few teams ago i suppose

Here is how that pic could happen:

      http://www.tremendousupsidepotential.com/2010/0

It's actually doesn't require a lot of work on their part, oh, except for the getting LeBron and Bosh to sign with them. The bench is ridiculously bad, but who cares? It's LeBron and Bosh!

link got firewalled! LAME! said something like “404 error…possible wet dream”

      whats that mean?

    • http://givemetherock.com/ Patrick

Hahaha, I think it means you have to stay at least 1,000 feet away from that link at all times.

Basically (without hijacking the entire post) all the Bulls would need to do to make it happen is:

      1. Trade Kirk Hinrich and John Salmons for expiring contracts (I think all Bulls fans would be ok with that).

      2. Do not give Tyrus Thomas a qualifying offer this summer (done and done)

      3. Sign LeBron James to a max contract. (now things get more difficult)

      4. Sign Chris Bosh to less than a max contract. (even more difficult)

That could leave the Bulls with a bench of James Johnson and Taj Gibson and no cap room. But again with a starting 5 like that, who needs a bench?

How do I register for the GMTR game on 365? I made an account but can't figure out how to sign up for your game

The game only shows up on Tuesday night after the Tuesday games are underway. You have all day Wednesday to register and set your roster.

lebron to NY is likely to happen. IMO. getting bosh to take less money is the tougest obstacle. is he willing to walk away from max money and the big market of NY? He'd be very marketable in NY, same for james (really? I said that? NO SH*T, eh?)

Id like to see hinrich and salmons traded. I wish they could keep thomas. would be a good six man. how much is thomas worth? mid level exception or a little more?

    • Terrance

also, the above team better sign korver or some other shooter…they have NONE!

I have a nice Eddie House you may be interested in…

I personally have the feeling that LeBron stays in Cleveland, but that might just be my doe eyed naivete talking.

And on a completely unrelated note, “doe eyed” has to be one of the stranger google image searches you can do. Everything from actual does to porn and everything in between.
