This is what I get for checking my RSS feeds after writing my post.
I’ve seen it a few places, Josh Howard will miss the rest of the season with a torn ACL. Not sure if this is a result of that news spreading quickly, but Howard’s ownership is down to 54%.
Andray Blatche is already owned in 71% of leagues, so good luck with that. Al Thornton is sitting equal to Howard with 54%, so he seems like the option to look for now. In the Wizards most recent game – where Howard played only 7 minutes – Thornton played 30 minutes, so he’s looking like he’ll have the time available.
Keep an eye on James Singleton. He played 27 minutes against the Bulls after averaging about 20 in the games for the Wizards prior to Howard’s injury.
Or maybe all the Waiver Wire Hounds are going to be screwed when Mike Miller decides to extract his cranium from his anium and start playing like he can.
