This is what I get for checking my RSS feeds after writing my post.

I’ve seen it a few places, Josh Howard will miss the rest of the season with a torn ACL. Not sure if this is a result of that news spreading quickly, but Howard’s ownership is down to 54%.

Andray Blatche is already owned in 71% of leagues, so good luck with that. Al Thornton is sitting equal to Howard with 54%, so he seems like the option to look for now. In the Wizards most recent game – where Howard played only 7 minutes – Thornton played 30 minutes, so he’s looking like he’ll have the time available.

Keep an eye on James Singleton. He played 27 minutes against the Bulls after averaging about 20 in the games for the Wizards prior to Howard’s injury.

Or maybe all the Waiver Wire Hounds are going to be screwed when Mike Miller decides to extract his cranium from his anium and start playing like he can.

Wow, that's some bad trading luck. The rabble is already dogging Camby with “May sit out permanently with strained ladyparts” comments over here in the City of Roses.

Camby will be back. I didn't think it looked that bad and I think he mouthed “I'll be alright” or something afterward. He didn't play tonight but I doubt this will linger beyond this week.

Josh Howard? this news came out i think 2 days ago? :) thats why ownership is low. that or my days are running together from lack of sleep. Either way I'm really happy noone took me up on trades where he was a throw in and I stayed with him.

Man. The NBA where the unexpected happens: Who woulda thought at the beinning of the year that Juwanna man Howard would start at C for the bulk of the Blazers season? And who woulda thought you would have to specify which Thornton you're happy you picked up??

Thing to watch in upcoming week: Shaq. I don't know if he is taken in your leagues but he isn't in any of ours but he's been on my radar with the solid #s he's been putting up! He owuld make a great pick up for a team that already deals with the Dwight effect.
