Line of the Night: A rare tie for the best fantasy line of last night between Danny Granger (1.24) and Gerald Wallace (1.24). Granger only shot 5-14 from the floor and scored 20 points against the Bulls, but compensated for it by going 4-8 from three, with 7 rebounds, 5 assists and 3 steals. Wallace on the other hand had a more conventional 27 and 8 with a couple steals and blocks. He was also 10-10 from the line.
Honorable Mentions: A near triple-double for Andre Miller (1.06) who finished with 18 points, 7 rebounds and 10 assists as the Blazers rolled the Raptors; A season-high 31 points, 9 rebounds and 4 blocks for Luol Deng (1.05), who has quietly been a top 60 fantasy guy this year; and the Jazz kept feeding Carlos Boozer (1.05) down low all night against the Bobcats. The plan worked for the Jazz, who won 102-93, and Boozer, who scored 33 points on 13-16 shooting and added 16 boards.

What is good for the Booz is bad for the Millsap.
Waiver Wire Line of the Night: A 17 point, 7 rebound performance off the bench for Rudy Fernandez (0.7). Fernandez is a complete hit or miss from game-to-game (just take a look at his game log), but if you only play him on the days when he’s going to be good, it should work out fine. See, fantasy basketball is easy.
Speaking of the Blazers, what the hell happened to Martell Webster (-0.4)? Wasn’t he supposed to be a big winner from the Blazers’ deadline trade for Camby? Instead, he’s been relegated to mop up duty off the bench, playing a grand total of 8 minutes last night. I guess Nicolas Batum happened. As long as Webster is coming off the bench, he isn’t worth owning on your fantasy team.
With Chris Bosh out of the lineup with a sprained ankle, Amir Johnson (0.57) pulled down a 10 and 8 in 23 minutes off the bench for the Raptors. He’s not getting consistent enough minutes to warrant a pickup, but at least he’s not a complete waste space out on the court like Rasho Nesterovic (-0.13).
And Chase Budinger (0.4) got 31 minutes of run off the bench for the Rockets, scoring 13 points with 6 assists. He now had six double-digit scoring games in a row and has knocked down 12 threes during that run.
The Biggest Loser: Just a guess, but when people drafted Tony Parker (-0.65) at the beginning of the season, I doubt they had 2 point, 0 assist games in mind. But that’s exactly what he put up last night against OKC. Sure, blame it on injuries (Parker has a strained hip flexor) but if that’s the type of line he’s going to put up, then he might as well just rest it up and continue to let Manu Ginobili carry the Spurs.
All Eyez on Me: Three games today, the best of which being Cleveland (44-14) at Boston (36-19). Paul Pierce is questionable in this game with a sore right thumb. If he doesn’t go, expect Marquis Daniels or Tony Allen to take his place.
Denver (37-19) at Golden State (16-40) – Even with LeBron playing, the best fantasy line of tonight will almost certainly come of out this game. There is just too much firepower in this one. I look forward to the part when Carmelo Anthony’s body literally catches on fire halfway through the second quarter like he’s in the old NBA Jam video game.
And don’t forget about Milwaukee (28-28) at Indiana (19-38). Or do forget, it won’t hurt my feelings. How has John Salmons been fitting in with the Bucks? Well, he hasn’t gone off like gangbusters, but at least he’s been more consistent, scoring 15+ points in each of his first four games with the team.
