You are correct, all the Jazz players are missing from yesterday's numbers, which is really strange because the team they played (the Clips) are in there just fine. I guess we'll just have to live in suspense of where Okur and his line would have ended up.

Good points about Fisher and the Lakers. In that post I linked, to their rational was that Fisher was 1) that veteran presence so often loved and 2) the only true point guard on the team who is cut out for the triangle offense. They are using a very loose definition of offense I'd assume.

For some reason, Basketball Monster does not have any stats for Utah players last night. It they did, they would have Mehmet Okur's sick line of 27-7-3 (11-17 from field), 3 three's, 3 steals, and 2 blocks rated high, if not highest. KGOT (Kevin Garnett of Turkey)?

If you're going to play Derek Fisher, I guess he would have to start, because he certainly won't be the energy guy off the bench. No reason to give him a bunch of minutes or let him shoot 7 times a night. Why not get miles out of Shannon Brown now while he's on the roster and before he opts out to let some team overpay him with an MLE deal this summer?
