Line of the Night: Amar’e Stoudemire (1.22) scored a season-high 44 points against the Jazz on an amazing 14-16 shooting and 16-18 from the line. He also added 7 rebounds and a couple of blocks. Stoudemire is clearly the best big man in the league right now… who is also playing for a contract.

He’s referring to contract ink, not tattoos.

Honorable Mentions: After nearly a month long slump where his shooting percentage approached the gates of hell, Brandon Jennings (1.2) appears to be heating up again. Last night he scored 35 points by going 8-13 from three, adding 8 assists and 5 boards in a win over the Kings; Monta Ellis (1.17) dropped 39 on Manu Ginobili (0.95) and the Spurs, but Ginobili (23 points, 11 assists) and the Spurs had the last laugh winning the game 147-116.

Kobe Bryant (0.98) led the way against the Wolves with 22 points, 13 assists and 4 steals, and his 13-14 from the line more than made up for his 4-11 shooting night.

Danny Granger (0.96) made a fast return from a cheek injury that was supposed to keep him out indefinitely. He scored 29 points on 11-16 shooting, adding 6 assists and 3 steals. If you had grabbed Dahntay Jones after Granger got hurt, well he was just Grangerized.

Return of the Night: Good to see Rodney Stuckey (0.74) back on the court after he collapsed during a game on March 5th. Stuckey played really well off the bench for Detroit, scoring 25 points and hitting a couple threes in 27 minutes.

Waiver Wire Line of the Night: Robin Lopez (1.04) is owned in 30% of leagues, which is probably more like 100% of the currently active leagues, but that’s fantasy sports for you. Anyway Lopez had a super efficient 19 points on 7-9 shooting, with 10 boards and 4 blocks in 34 minutes. Channing Frye (-0.02), on the other hand, only got 13 minutes and scored 5 points with 4 rebounds.

Taj Gibson (0.72) pulled down a 20 and 13 in 38 minutes against the Cavs. It’s the most minutes he’s gotten in a month and come to think of it, the best he’s played in a month as well.

The Biggest Loser: Andray Blatche (-0.59). A for effort, D+ for results. Blatche is playing though an ankle sprain, which I commend him for because he is currently starting for me in one of the GMTR reader’s leagues, but I’m going to need more than a 6-19 shooting night, with 5 boards and 4 turnovers.

All Eyez on Me:

Boston (44-24) at Dallas (46-22) – Little did we know, Nels’ is writing under the pseudonym Nick Friedell over at ESPN.com. Derrick Rose may be the future of the NBA, but this game is the now, even if the now is starting to look old. I hope everyone entering their playoff weeks on Monday stuck with Jason Terry, noted iron man, who is back on the court a mere days after receiving facial surgery to get John Travolta’s face implanted over his own. Really, it’s crazy.

New Orleans (33-37) at Utah (44-25) – We are getting close and closer to where this becomes a reality.

The Golden Ticket: Golden State (19-49) at Memphis (36-33) – Where I’m sure Monta Ellis will put up another crazy line. Stephen Curry is questionable for this game with a sprained ankle. As long as he’s out, C.J. Watson becomes a must play and the non-NFL Reggie Williams is a guy you want to check out for deeper leagues.
