Financially, the Griz will likely be in a bit of a pickle this year with their ability to resign Marc Gasol, but what they did certainly worked for them this year. Randolph was a beast in the playoffs and - despite my argument above - Tony Allen was also a great signing for Memphis.   Looking back, I was a little harsh on the Grizzlies for

They were the only team to go 3-0 against the Mavs who are in the Finals. They would have played them to and almost beat the thunder, but they lost the triple ot game at home. If they had won, they would have played the mavs... I wonder if that would end up like the regular season. By the way, I would take Randolph over Dirk any day.
